A large fortune 500 consulting organisation is currently seeking an Oracle Forms PL/SQL Analyst Programmer on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

This outstanding organisation are currently seeking an Oracle Forms or PL/SQL Analyst programmer for a 12 months fixed term perm contract based in Brisbane CBD.

As the Analyst Programmer you will be responsible for software design and development, testing and preparation of documentation, the provision of technical input to sales activities, and the maintenance on and support of systems as required.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Participation in Product development strategy.
  • Production of customer Business Requirements and System Functional Specifications, including the running of user workshops and converting of business requirements into system specifications.
  • Participation in Architectural / High Level Design activities.
  • Production of detailed design and code to implement specifications in accordance with quality procedures, architecture requirements and coding standards.
  • Review and provide feedback on applicable quality procedures.
  • Production and execution of Unit Test Plans.
  • Participation in infrastructure set-up and system roll-outs on client sites
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience with Oracle Programming,
  • Experience with Microsoft Office productivity tools, eg Word, Excel and Visio
  • Oracle Development/Database Certification
  • Prior experience in programming (PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Perl)
  • Knowledge of Utility industries
  • Prior experience in the utilities/electricity sector is essential
