Lead DevOps Engineer

Do you want to be part of a culture where there is a clear career path. My Client being one of the Big 4s is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer with exposure to Mobile. It is the responsibility of the DevOps Lead Engineer provide technical leadership and guidance to experts in environment, operations and development teams in build and release automation.

Responsibilities:


    • Extensive experience in configuring and maintaining key services including Atlassian Stash, JIRA, Jenkins, HP Fortify, Nexus, HockeyApp, SonarQube, Fastlane, Django.

    • Establish best practice CI/CD standards, including surfacing build dashboards, gated branches in source control, automated testing strategies, etc.

    • Maintain internal key development infrastructure, including OSX provisioning, test networks mobile device management.

    • Managing and mentoring DevOps Engineers, guiding and supporting their work.



    Person specification:


    • Ability to understand a wide-array of technology, with an emphasis on mobile.

    • Thorough understanding of the SDLC, and how the DevOps role aligns to development practices.

    • Ability to research and engage services outside of the team, include internal and external vendors.

    • Excellent in analytical and problem-solving skills including "can-do" attitude.

    • Ability to multi task and good time management skills

    • Ability to work on their own and as a part of the team

    • Excellent scoping and estimation skills

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).



    Skills:


    • Knowledge of GIT

    • Windows server & OSX admin skills

    • General IT administration skills including the ability to create/write automation scripts (Powershell or similar).

    • Experience with Jenkins/Bamboo/TeamCity and creating build jobs.

    • Ability to script XCode, MSBuild, and Gradle builds.

    • Knowledge of automated testing suites (including unit tests, automated UI [mobile], HP fortify, static code analysis)

    • Sound knowledge of mobile devices, connectivity, WIFI, etc. to assist in establishing test/provisioning infrastructure.
