    PAX - The Penny Arcade Expo - is back in Melbourne for 2016. Here you'll be able to find pictures of what's happening. So far we've seen some epic gaming displays, stunning case mods, great cosplays, huge tabletop gaming events and much more. We started early so the first pics are the buildup outside the main halls. But now, day one is almost over for us and it's beer o'clock. We'll delve deeper tomorrow. In the meantime, here are our 100 Best PAX Aus things so far.

  • There's some serious cosplay on show. You can never have too many guns and they can never be too big.

  • The first things to jump out at us at PAX AUS 2016 are PC case mods. Here's an amazing Pikachu PC made by Australian case modding company, TAG.

    On top of this we'll be adding cosplay and coverage of the many gaming tournaments running throughout the day.

  • It's hard to make out, but the key thing with this case mod is the coolant which shimmers and swirls. It has a shelf life before separating. But it looks amazing for a few months.

  • HP's relaunch of the Omen gaming brand PCs was a major presence.

  • VFC. There's a reason there's so much space. This guy was essentially blind shadow boxing while playing the game.

  • Evergreen - some games are made for specific people.

  • Mallow Drops.

  • DragonBall Xenoverse 2 and Tekken 7. There were queues for Tekken.

  • Final Fantasy XV looking popular.

  • MSI's gaming laptop with desktop gaming keyboard.

  • The Australian Institute of ICT had a racing-themed stand.

  • Astro's stand.

  • King's Comics had a massive merch stand.

  • Many people playing on Origin's high-end PCs.

  • Alienware's stand.

  • BenQ and Zowie stand.

  • The Twitch booth.

  • PS4 VR on show in a Playstation booth.

  • MSI's funky booth at PAX Aus.

  • Zelda's 30th Anniversary being celebrated as wall art.
